“In OUR future, you wouldn’t look twice”, that’s the mantra that graces a new political poster created by South Africa’s Democratic Alliance party. The only problem is…the poster features a white male and a black woman interwined and staring into each other’s eyes. South Africa, a place where racial tension was once very prominent, may not be ready for the ‘future’. The image has caused great commotion amongst politicians who claim that interracial mixing is not good and the undertone of sexual activity doesn’ t make matters any better.
