On February 26, Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch captain who claims the act was done in self-defense. George Zimmerman, who said Martin looked suspicious because of his attire, would go on to say that he was attacked by Trayvon and only did what was necessary.


These 3 words were the reflection of a commonality amongst thousands of Atlanta citizens who came together on the 26th day of March 2012 to speak out as one voice against the killing of Trayvon Martin.

Michael Antoniou’s Kenya Exhibition

Michael Antoniou, photographer, launches his first solo exhibition at “Open the Gate” in London, UK based on a series of photographs from Kenya, East Africa. Four brilliant live acts, musicians and friends he has worked with over the years are seen here supporting Michael’s work on this launch night which took place on Thursday the 24th of November and the exhibition will run until the 4th of January 2012. Noggz Takes Part In Kenya International Film Festival

An admiral respect is steadily growing for hip hop recording artist, Noggz, of Circle Group Entertainment. Recently, the musician/entrepreneur attended the Kenya International Film Festival in Nairobi, Kenya. The primary focus of this collective gathering is to encourage filmmakers (local) to produce films which may appeal to audiences globally all while embracing Africa. During the course of the festival, over 500 countries contributed films to the event. Noggz, who also is a native of Nairobi, Kenya, took pride in being a part of this grand festival which also attracted the likes of Wole Soyinka, numerous award winning filmmakers and a slew of entertainment lawyers. Yo! MTV Raps Comes Back To TV

Even though it’s a scheduled one-time event, this will be a must see. Yo! MTV Raps is returning to television to take a look back at how hip hop came to be what is today.
