Last week during New York’s Mercedes-Benz Week, Foxy Brown was reportedly kicked out of an after-party in which she was due to perform. The obvious root of Foxy’s behavior was intoxication. The female rapper arrived late (and drunk) to the venue, approximately 10 minutes before closing. As partygoers began to exit, Foxy threw a tantrum and locked herself in the bathroom and refused to come out. Security eventually subdued the situation and removed her from the building.
While music and NBA fans enjoyed the weekend’s spectacular events, Kobe Bryant’s new sneaker is revealed during a cinematic short film. The video is chock full of big name stars that all play their respective positions well. Peep game (pun intended).
This year has been a prominent one for music fans. The veterans of the game came out swinging but before we put too much emphasis on that, I must say that the newcomers are also making noise as well. As promised, we came through once again with an exclusive new gem from Noggz. As we try to keep up with this guy, it looks as if there’s no slowing him down. Lyrics are sharp as we remember from his last release. Oh yeah, the ‘eye candy’ makes this thing even more banging. You seen it here first, so back up… ain’t no love for haters.
As we creep a little closer to 2K11, HHABC reflects back on the wonderful year we had and look forward to many more to come. Capping off a very eventful 2010, we bring to you the results of 33seventee6’s recent fashion show in Atlanta.
The show featured the line’s latest collections of designer tees and some of the industry’s hottest models and also a must see for the fellas…ladies in body paint!
Peep the video as the girls take the runway and rep hard for our partners at 33seventee6. Some of ATL’s local celebs stopped in to show support for the cause. One thing that anyone who sees this will recognize is that HHABC will always be around to capture moments such as this. The mood of the whole evening was that of peace and love.
Shout out to Pluto WorldWide for making the whole thing possible, we see you out there! As in all events such as this one, location is key and the folks at the New Archive Art Gallery were kind enough to avail their facility for the day and the night.
Enjoy the video and listen to the new track we just snatched from that dude Noggz. This dude is a beast…enjoy. Look out for that upcoming mixtape “Dont Try This At Home” due out 1st half 2011.
Vanessa and Angela Simmons speak about their vision they once had. When no one took them serious enough to be dedicated enough to start and maintain a business, they continued their fight. Now they own one of the most successful and lucrative businesses in America.
With his 4th Number One album “Teflon Don” approaching gold status a few months since its release, Rick Ross is yet to take time off his viral campaign.
Big up to Spiff TV for making those clean street videos look like short movies.
As you may recall a month or so ago, we released to you the Forbes list that included black entertainers click here for previous list.
HHABC is back with hip-hops version of the esteemed list and why do some of these people look like they have barcordes next to their figures?
Clearly we are in the wrong business and we need to sit down with one of these cats and understand what exactly we are doing wrong!!!

After continuously postponing the release of this mixtape to eager but doubltful Jay Z fans, the highly anticipated offering has finally seen the light of day. It was initially titled “The mighty Neil Armstrong”. Roc Nation and Green Lantern’s Team Invasion, team up to release a slew of various recordings.
Most of the music was compiled during Jay-Z’s “The Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life” conquest to aid African countries in the pursuit of clean water, while Hov promoted Kingdom Come some 6 years ago. Anybody familiar with Green Lantern’s previous work “Alive on Arrival” with the likes of, Jadakiss, Eminem, and much more, knows to expect the best out of the multi-talented DJ.
No one in the mixtape world does it like Green Lantern. He is also a very well accomplished Producer. Notorious for including all original beats and matching vocals of previously recorded material, Green Lantern takes mixtape creation more seriously than anyone else in the game.
