Nas & Damian Marley: The Best of Both Genre’s

Posted on 20 May 2010 by admin

Nas finds solace in new collabo album with Damian Marley. After splitting ways with ex-wife Kelis, Nas has been trying to regain inner peace and direction. Meanwhile Damian has been perfecting production skills in the studio with the help of brother Stephen. The two respective genres coincide beautifully throughout the whole album. At times, Nas’ thoughts reach out too far making him sound more like a missionary than rapper. This is a good thing because artists need to put thought back into the words. Damian delivers again with powerful chants and hypnotic flow. This album definitely deserves a listen or two.

New Jadakiss Mixtape “The Champ Is Here 3″ By DJ Drama & Green Lantern

Posted on 03 May 2010 by admin

This is definitely  worth the listen, Kiss has often reminded us all why he can comfortably say he is top 5 dead or alive 3 solo Lp’s later.” ..double breasted down/ Pound for Pound one of the best around” , Jada Is a savage since that 1st Funk flex Freestyle with biggie as a member of “Da Lox” 15 years later Kiss has proven over and over he is not an average MC.

3 songs into this one i am already hooked, let alone the fact Green Lantern & Drama had their input into this is definitely a keeper.

B.O.B On The Rise

Posted on 29 April 2010 by admin

You know when Eminem is quoted saying that he is as  a fan of your music you are definitely headed in the right direction. After years of grinding out the underground circuit and dropping various street/club anthems like “Haterz Everywhere”‘ and “Cloud Nine”, B.O.B is beginning to garner the kind of recognition that has been coming his way for ages. The diversity of his skill set is beyond amazing, reminiscent of a young Andre 3000 with a youthful grace to it.

Its been 2-3 years since B.O.B hit the scene and its been a slow but consistent rise to finally having his 1st No 1 hit “Nothin” which has immediately given him the notoriety he needs to reach as many people and finally have his work appreciated.

Seems like only yesterday when B.O.B appeared on 2008 XXL freshmen cover with the likes of Asher Roth , Joell Ortiz etc, since then he has aligned himself with Fellow ATLien TI and His Grand Hustle/ Atlantic Imprint to further his career and the move has definitely open some doors.

From a number one single and a 2nd single in the top 20 there is no telling just where to look next for the 22 year old.
