Mixtape : 50 Cent – ‘The Kanan Tape’

Finally! After weeks of anticipation and a disappointing pump fake on Thanksgiving Day, 50 Cent drops, ‘The Kanan Tape’. Trimmed down to a mere 7 tracks, the musical collective gives us a soundtrack to Fif’s infamous character, Kanan, which he plays the part on the highly-favored Starz Network Original Series, Power. 50 Cent recently explained that he wrote these songs from the character’s perspective. If you know anything about the hit series, you’d know Kanan to be street smart and grimey and unforgiving, don’t expect anything less from Fif latest release. Enjoy!

Audio: Nas – Power, Paper & Pussy (Produced Nas & Salaam Remi)

Off DJ Green Lanterns newly released “Invasion Radio 2K10” due out today, Nas is not one to miss an opportunity to work with the “Evil Genius” and long time collaborator Salaam Remi.

Nas took as a few years back with a couple old lines from his Illmatic/Escobar days reminiscent of a better time in Hip-Hop.

We promise to salvage the game and get it where they where it needs to be we are the “Pulse of Hiphop”, don’t you ever forget.

Kanye West ft. Jay-Z – Power Remix

When it comes to staying relevant and adding a missing element to a song lets face it, Jay Z is not a bad component to have.
Leased we forget on Kanye has probably very little control over that decision (for obvious reasons) but since “Diamonds” 2005) Kanye and Jay Z have worked close together to produce some memorable moments in rap.

“…futuristic fly s**t /the penthouse is the projects and everybody flies private”

NEW KANYE WEST: Kanye ft Dwelle-Power (The comeback)

its almost impossible for Kanye to keep a low profile because of the medias obsession with him. Although since the VMA incident he hasn’t released as much music as he did in the past. With this one, he has taken his craft to a new level and dared to redefine his sound again. Dwelle’s contribution to the song is more toward the end but it serves its purpose. With his next project underway and informally titled “Good A** Job” fans can definitely expect anything but the norm.

Big ups to my boy Eddie for this one here, whats good kid we need more music.
